Cooperation & Volunteerism

The sense of community and belonging is very much a part of the human spirit. In order for a community to succeed, sometimes it is necessary for its members to pull together, to raise walls for the common good rather than for their own isolation.

Because there was nothing in the Page area, facilities and services all had to be created by groups of people who cared. This brought the community together in a very special and memorable way. Page’s early citizens banded together to build churches, businesses, ball fields, and swimming pools, mainly through volunteer efforts.
